Hegarty signs began in 1977 and incorporated in 1990.

In its early years it used traditional methods of making signs, paint and brush. In 1990 it purchased its
first computer aided signmaking machinery. This early adaptation of the available technology propelled the
business forward. It was innovative in the way it used the new techniques and the business became a powerfull force in the industry.
This new ‘capacity’ to make signs, created new opportunities
and new customers and with new staff in place the business was able to service larger and more demanding
clients. In 1990 it began a long term relationship with the Delfin Property Group creating the Forest Lake
suburb and other major projects. The business continues working with Delfin Lend Lease at Springfield Lakes
and the upcoming major development Yarrabilba near Beaudesert.

Hegarty Signs continues to provide many of the top land developers around Brisbane, Gold and Sunshine coasts and Ipswich
the management, experience and product that is needed to make the marketing of their land a success.

Changing technologies have constantly challenged methods of making signs, both in quality and economics.
This business has used technology and experience to provide the very best of service, advice and product
to satisfy the needs of its clients, often mixing the processes of new and old to the best advantage.
These days we use the Solvent printing process to produce many of the signs required.
This combined with computer cut vinyl lettering and outsourced printing and letter making services provide all of our
our clients needs.
